Twitter Developer Agreement อัปเดตข้อตกลงที่มีผลกับแอป 3rd party โดยมีผลทันทีตอนนี้

ซึ่งเนื้อหาหลักจะเกี่ยวข้องกับการที่นักพัฒนาไม่สามารถสร้างแอปที่ทำหน้าที่เดียวกับแอป Twitter ได้อีกต่อไป ส่งผลโดยตรงต่อแอปเช่น Tweetbot

You will not or attempt to (and will not allow others to) … c) use or access the Licensed Materials to create or attempt to create a substitute or similar service or product to the Twitter Applications

Twitter is enforcing its long-standing API rules. That may result in some apps not working.

อัปเดตดังกล่าวมีผลกระทบมากมายต่อนักพัฒนาไม่ว่าจะเป็นในด้านไม่พอใจที่ไม่สามารถทำแอปของตัวเองได้ รวมถึงอาจส่งผลให้หลายๆ บริษัทไม่อยากร่วมงานกับ Twitter อีกด้วย
